ball-ended. Two gold bands decorates the cap. The pen is
filled with ink by using the gold lever on the
barrel. A very clear and crisp engraving on the barrel

England". The imprint on the nib

Circa 1929, Colour:
Burgundy/black. Nib: 'Medium'.
Impressive pen with
a smooth and glossy body. The clip is designed like a serpents
head. The cap is adorned with one gold band. The pen is
filled with ink by using bulb filler beneath the blind cap on the
barrel. The very clear and crisp engraving on the barrel reads:
"National Security, "DOUBLE TANK", Highest Grade English
Manufacturer". The imprint on the nib reads: "Warranted, 14ct, 1st
Quality". Solid gold 14 carat 'medium' nib. Trim is rolled gold.
Writes like the quality pen it is. Condition is excellent.

It has a charm all of its own.
Fitted with the gold filled arrow clip introduced in 1932. Around
the top of the clip is the unique engraving: "Reg'd No. 784404". The cap
has been designed with three gold bands indicating its 'top of the
range'. Trim is gold filled.
Weak imprint on barrel which reads: "PARKER VACUMATIC 17". Ink
filling is by the plunger beneath the blind cap on the barrel. The
original nib reads:"PARKER VACUMATIC, REG TM, Made in Canada". Solid gold 14

greater ink capacity than a conventional pen of equal size. The

GOOD
SERVICE Fountain Pen,
Circa 1935, Colour: Black, pearl and red ribbons. Good Service
was a quality brand of pens sold by Sears. The first Good Service pens
show up sometime in 1925-6 and the brand is used up until the
1940s.
Sometime around 1933-34 Sears switched to sourcing most of the pens
from Parker, and you have Good Service pens that are very similar to
Parkco and Parkette pens. The pen has five gold bands ie one around the
cap top and three around the cap mouth and one at the barrel end. The
beautiful clip is stepped at its top and is engraved with "Good
Service". The barrel is engraved with"GOOD SERVICE Fountain Pen Co Chicago
Ill".
Ink filling is by the gold level on the barrel. The original
nib is engraved:
"WARRANTED, 14K, USA". Solid 14 carat gold 'medium' nib. Great writer.
Condition is excellent. Length: 4 3/4" - 5 3/4".

52 RED RIPPLE Fountain
Pen, Circa 1923, Colour: Red Ripple. Waterman
introduced the Red Ripple in 1923 and it is today a very collectable
fountain pen. Designed to be clipless thus displaying the exquisite two
tone colours. The barrel is engraved with "WATERMANS FOUNTAIN
PEN"
along with the Globe logo. Ink filling is by the gold level
box on the
barrel. The original nib is engraved: "WATERMANS, IDEAL,
CANADA, 2".
Solid 14 carat gold 'medium' nib. Superb writer. Condition is excellent.

Pen, Circa 1948, Colour: Dark green. This
revamped model of
the Victory introduced in '48 has the stylish tapered clip
with the wording
"PARKER". The pen ends are slightly conical and the cap has
two gold
bands. Trim is rolled gold. The engraving on the barrel reads:
"PARKER
VICTORY, Made in England". Ink filling is by the button inside
the blind cap
on the barrel. The nib is engraved with: "PARKER, 14K,
ENGLAND, 35 4".
Solid gold 14 carat 'medium' nib. Trustworthy and dedicated

the end of the 40's Parker
made very crafted and well built pens. The clip is the Parker
trademark
arrow. The cap has one gold band which is in Art-Deco style.

filled. The engraving on the barrel reads: "PARKER DUOFOLD,
Reg T M,
Made in England". Ink filling is by the aeromatic filler
inside the barrel. The
nib is engraved with: "PARKER, DUOFOLD, 14K, Pen, N".
The N denotes
that the pen was made in England. Solid gold 14 carat 'medium'

Parkette models are individually interesting and varied. The
ball-ended
clip engraved with a chevron and attached to the cap with mounting ears.
The cap is decorated with two gold bands. Trim is gold filled. The
engraving on the barrel reads: " PARKETTE, Made by Parker USA, 27".
Ink filling is by the lever on the barrel which was unusual for Parker.
The
nib is engraved with: "PARKETTE, Made in USA". Gold plated 'fine' to
'medium' nib. Groovy writer. Condition is excellent. Length: 4 7/8" -

No 3, MABIE TODD Fountain Pen, Circa 1911, Colour: Chased black hard rubber. A very
well cared for fountain pen from nearly 100 years ago. The cap is
engraved with a very sharp "SWAN No 3" and has one very broad band
around its mouth. Trim is rolled gold, The barrel is clearly
engraved with
"THE SWAN, SAFETY SCREW CAP, Mabie Todd & Co Ltd, Made in
England"
along with the Swan logo. Ink filling is by an eyedropper. The original
nib
is engraved: "Mabie Todd & Co, 3, NEW YORK". Solid 14 carat
