CONWAY STEWART 77 Fountain Pen
Circa 1958. Colour: Executive Black.  Nib: 'Medium'.

Top of the range CS 77 brought out to appeal to the fashionable and high-status of the Conway Stewart clientele.  The gold clip is held in place by the silver screw stud - this combination was exclusive to the top of the range pens.  Two narrow and one medium gold bands adorn the cap. Trim is rolled gold. The engraving on the barrel reads: "Conway Stewart 77, Made in England".  Ink filling is by the gold lever on the barrel. The top-of-the-range nib is engraved with: "DURO, Conway Stewart, 14ct GOLD".  Solid gold 14 carat 'medium' nib. The DURO nib, only made for the top-of-the-range pens, ensures smooth writing.  Condition is excellent. Length: 5 3/8" - 6 3/8".
