SWAN Mabie Todd & Co Fountain Pen Circa 1938.  Colour: Grey and black.  Nib: 'Medium'. Mabie Todd & Co Ltd prided themselves on producing quality pens which write very smoothly. The gold clip has the engraving of the Swan logo. The top of the cap has the gold logo and it is designed not to have bands around the cap mouth. The barrel is engraved with: "SWAN Self-Filler, Mabie Todd & Co Ltd, Made in England" and alongside is the Swan logo. Ink filling is by the gold lever on the barrel. Trim is rolled gold. The 'fine' / flexible nib is engraved with: "SWAN, 2, 14ct, Mabie Todd & Co Ltd, Made in England ".  Solid gold 14 carat medium nib. Smooth and glossy body. Condition: Excellent.
