SUMMIT S125 Fountain Pen
Circa: 1937. Colour: Wine and black marbled.  Nib: 'Medium'.
The company started business as Curzon, Lloyd and MacGregor in Liverpool then changed its name to Curzon's in the 1920's and then to Summit a few years before the WWII.  The gold ball-ended clip has the engraving of "SUMMIT". The cap is decorated with a single gold band. Trim is rolled gold. The very clear and sharp barrel imprint reads: "SUMMIT, S 125, Made in England".  Ink filling is by the gold lever on the barrel. The 'medium' nib is engraved with: "SUMMIT, 14ct, GOLD, Made in England". Trim is rolled gold.  The pen writes very easily with a gliding flow of the hand. Superb -  near mint.  Length: 5 1/4" - 6 1/2"

A pen made by craftsmen in the 'golden years' of fountain pens.
